Scott Erickson called up. To audition for Mets rotation?

Colter Bean has a 0.77 ERA in AAA and they call up Erickson.

I'll take a one armed, no legged man being called up over Sturtze.

Maybe this means Ron Villone will get more action. Don't know why Torre kept pitching Sturtze over him.

Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

Today was just ugh...bats couldn't do anything and Randy is still not himself.

We've got a 4 game series starting tomorrow vs the Rangers, we really need to take 3 of 4 to salvage the homestand.

Tomorrow is Mussina vs Padilla, so I like our chances.

I'm pretty sure Milwood is pitching tommorow. Still a game that should be won anyway.

Yeah, when I posted that, it was because CBSsportsline hadn't taken into affect the Texas rainout, thus pushing everyone back a day.

Another good game by Moose, but Millwood shuts us down and Farnsworth blows it.

I missed the end, any word on why Giambi came out?

Sad news.... For Red Sox fans.

Tanyon is probably done for the year
