That's what Newsday is saying:

Nobody really has any idea when he'll be back.

It makes more sense than the theory that throwing 25 pitches caused him to hurt his back 2 days later.

He's thrown more than 25 pitches 4 times this year, and he's also thrown 21 pitches twice, 22 pitches, and 23 pitches.

It was a no brainer to have him pitch the 3rd inning

Last night was a perfect example as to why Mo should have won the last 8 MVP's.

I have a godawful back, it's very easy to tweak it doing something like tying your kicks.

And Sheffield is a tough dude too. He played with his whole left shoulder almost torn 2 seasons ao and he stuck it out.

The wrists are so important for hitting with power and I suspect that if he tries to come back, hes gonna tone down his bat waggle before the pitch a bit to keep some of the stress off of it.

Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

Cashman was on the FAN.

It sounded very unlikely that they will trade for a big name outfielder. They seem content with starting Melky in left, and filling right with Bernie, Long, and Crosby. They could trade for one if the right deal came along, but they wouldn't trade Cano, Wang, or Hughes, unless they could get a bigtime pitcher.
