And to think... If Long had gotten a hit in that last AB he could have become a 'True Yankee'.

Well at least we made it interesting in the final innings. Made Mariano pitch some too.

That Yankee bullpen is really, really terrible.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

It wasn't a good night for Wake and the offense, when Wright was in the game anyways. All night they were able to get hits off of Wright (many being of the hard-hit variety) but the bottom of the order was exploited. Francona kept Wake in for an inning too long and the comeback was too little too late. Still, nice to see Manny heating up. Clement goes in the rubber game tomorrow, his ERA is actually better than Johnson's so far this year, though that wouldn't make me put any money him.

Looks like Crisp will return Monday:

Coco Crisp, provided he suffers no setbacks, will return to the Red Sox lineup Monday at Toronto

Very good to hear...especially if Mo's still sore...Willie Harris just...sucks.

It'll be nice to get Crisp back. Wily Mo has filled in admirably but he's not the polished hitter or defender that Crisp is.

Speaking of Wily, he'll probably be starting tonight vs. RJ.
