Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Randy Johnson was awful, and yet the Sox are losing because someone else managed to be worse tonight. Clement might be the worst starter in the AL at this point. The guys is awful and I honestly can't stand watching him pitch. He has no idea where anything is going and it seems like every out he gets is pure luck. Surely someone from the farm could come up and match Clement's 6+ ERA at this point.

I believe we should swap suck for suck.

Towers for Clement.

Hell, it can't get worse.

We'll give you our entire staff minus Johan and Liriano for Clement. That would be about even...

That....hurt.

Had Pena taken home on that WP Manny could tie it in the ninth.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Papi will work himself out of his slump, jumbling him around the lineup is stupid.

This loss really sucks. Not to blow it out of proportion because I know it's early on. If I remember correctly from the games we've already played against them, had the sox won tonight, the season series would be at 5-2. Barring a complete collapse we could have another 5 during the course of a season. Which would have given us the season series.

Again I know it's early, just easy to think about this stuff after a crappy loss.
