Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Tek didn't exactly take the cover off the ball, but he stayed on it to get Manny in.

Bases loaded, no outs, and no Leo Mazzone to save Jaret Wright

So did Proctor pop Torre's daughter's cherry?

He's beating this guy's arm to death.

He seriously pitches every night. As much as I respect Joe Torre, he can be a questionable in game manager sometimes, especially with the bullpen. He tends to stick to just a few relievers and ends up burning them out by October.

That and his obsession with bunting lately, especially with Jeter.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Not getting in front of that ball with the go ahead run on third is absolutely disgusting... that was Roger Dorn-esque

Yeah.

The scorer is ruling it an error, I would put some money on the official scorer being a writer for some NY paper. More ammo to bash ARod.

If that's Jeter, it's a hit.
