I have no problem with a pitcher shaking off Tek if they do their homework, which it sounds like Beckett does. Varitek prepares better than most catchers but he really only has a day to prepare for the opposing lineup while a starter has 4 days.

Anyone else feel like this game is setting up perfectly for a Keith Foulke blown save to send Red Sox fans into a full panic, 3 games into the season.

If Beckett/Schil end up like a Pedro/Schil in '04, or possibly better, then look out MLB.
