Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Seriously...our offense has been...horrrrrrrible this series.

And the best hit ball we've had all series? A ****ing single. Yeah, right.

Is it different than Tropicana? Could've sworn in Tropicana the ump could choose either a single or a home-run, just a judgement call...but, apparently I'm wrong and that blows.

Yes it is. And the worst thing is, as Jerry just said, if they had caught it, it wouldve been an out.

Just another argument against Domes in baseball. Or at the very least, an argument against absurd ground rules.

Yeah...just heard that...now THAT is a joke.

That would've been a HR to straight away center in Fenway...and it's a single, with potential to be an out in this stadium? Hah...gotta love the domes.

Alright Manny...time for you to take some of the spotlight off of Ortiz.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Dreadful series by the Red Sox. I can understand not being able to get anything going against Santana, but letting Radke and Silva shut you down is pitiful. I also wasn't too impressed with some of Francona's moves this series. Not too many bright spots in Minnesota for the Red Sox.

Now Atlanta is 3 and 14 over their last 17 games. If the Sox don't take 2 out of 3 from them I'm going to be very upset.

We desperately need a good game from Lester. If he can give us a good start...you have to figure we'll win at least 2 games, and both Beckett and Schilling shouldn't get beaten at home.
