Could be a very good trade, we'll see how Johnson does when he gets his first chance.

Pretty kickass to see, especially after I was skeptical after his first start was average at best. It definitely appears Lester has the potential to be an Andy Pettitte, dominant #2/#3 type starter.

Of course, he has had success thus far against the Braves and Nationals - two NL teams. I suspect he will get his *** kicked by the ridiculously tough American League, but then again, who doesn't get their *** kicked there? Santana?

Overall, I have to say I am pretty impressed with Lester. The Red Sox certainly appear to know what they are doing when drafting these pitchers. Hell, I bet Annibal Sanchez will be good too.

Yes Lester has been super impressive but agaisnt a struggling Braves team and the Nats. Still great to see him pitch and it doesnt hurt when he is helping my fatnasy team.
