Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Thank you, Lackey! 1-1 game. Wow, the Angels defense is terrible. It's not like they're just making bad plays physically either, but that's two times this inning they've just thrown to the wrong place. Of course, Lackey had just been drilled by a line drive and Kendrick is by trade a second baseman, but still.

Lets keep pouring it on.

EDIT: Nevermind, DP by Nixon

Either way, Orel may not have the personality Miller has, but he's not paid to either, and besides Miller is IMO the best at what he does. Orel does however know what the hell he's talking about, I actually feel like I'm learning. Woot, screw you Morgan.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

I thought Schilling was gonna be on based on his early heat but it looks like he's off tonight

Trot being off hasn't helped either.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Schil's fastball was a good pitch to Figgins, just a nice piece of hitting IMO. Not as much baserunning, as Manny/Lowell gun out Figs.

And by the way, listneing to Orel is awesome, why haven't I heard him before?

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

I think Orel is phenominal, and all the feedback he received while mentoring the Rangers staff is very complimentary as well.

As for Schill, it really looks like he's just overthrowing a bit in the Sunday night spotlight. His velocity is up but so are his pitches...
