That ball was absolutely destroyed. I <3 Wily Mo Pena. How on Earth is a guy with that kind of power hitting behind Coco Crisp and Jason Varitek?

If he really seizes this opportunity in the final months, it wouldn't be out of the question to see him hitting behind Manny for 135+ games next year...assuming Trot is not in the plans.

Good hustle by Cora, bad decision to throw.

I like Trot, but damn is it nice to have Wily Mo in the lineup. He launched that thing.

Francona and his idiot loyalty hurt the Sox there. Wells was clearly laboring through that inning, and it wasn't more apparent than in that at-bat against Martinez. He should have pulled him after the 2-out walk, instead he leaves him in to face Blake who launches the three-run homer. Wells could have ended his night on a pretty good note, instead its a low one.

Tito is so f*ckin hard-headed it's incredible. Why would you leave David in there for him to keep getting bombed.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Just got home from work to see no trades and TIto leaving in Wells too long. The no trades thing was ok but the Sox need to get rolling now.

One more thing, Wily Mo Pena is playing now. Tito needs to use his bat. This means not batting him eighth behind light hitting Varitek (now Mirabelli) and Crisp and before Cora. He can't produce there even though he's had a triple, monster homer, and single today.
