and we signed JC Romero as well, who despite a bad year, has some pretty good stuff for a lefty...

Donnelly and Romero certainly help the bullpen out a bit.

Anyone else stronlgy dislike the Pineiro as closer situation we have going into ST?

I dont think you can really consider Pineiro the closer. They have a bunch of relievers, hopefully one of which will emerge. I still think Papelbon could play into it before the seasons done.
