Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Poorly played by Branyan, but it was tough to play because of his position (like DO and Remy said).

I'm surprised he was playing shallow though, it's still Manny despite the slump.

Yeah I was surprised too. He's one of the better opposite field power hitters in baseball. Questionable positioning on that one.

My question is: has Branyan been a Right Fielder before this year? I know he was at Third much of his career including last year when the Brewers had him. Anyone know his story?

He's green when it comes to playing the outfield. Only 13 starts in LF in 2003. No other OF starts on his record that I see since then.

That looked like it hurt.

And apparently Branyan has gotten some outfield work in his career but not a whole lot for a few years, and not in Right Field since 2001.

Oh boy. Not sure about Clement heading back out there. He better be on a short leash.

Nice outing by Clement. Obviously not the hardest hitters in the league but still nothing to sneeze.

Hold the line Timlin and give to Paps. Or Foulke... I've got them both on one of my fantasy squads, so their is no conflict of interest
