Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

The game never should have gone to extras, but that ball 4 call was so unbelievably bad. I have no idea how he could miss that. That ump was awful all game long and inconsistent.

Watching them blow the lead, the error on Lowell, all those HRs on pitches well above the belt...tough to lose that way. But yeah, blue was consistently inconsistent, very tough to watch this one unfold.

It's dumb how someone not even playing in the game can determine the outcome. Im so mad at the horrible officiating. These guys are supposed to be the "best" and they get paid pretty well to, least they could do is call a consistent game.

Papelbons new haircut is TUFF. You guys see that mohawk he has? It's awesome. He said one of the cathcers told him if he pitched 10 scoreless innings he had to get a haircut. He got to 10.1/3 inning last night.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

The Ump sucked last night but he was missing calls both ways. Bottom line, we never should have even gotten that far. The game just got away from Beckett in the 8th and the Jays have good enough hitters to make him pay if he makes mistakes.

The thing that sucks is it seems like Foulke keeps getting better but getting lousy results. He didn't deserve the loss in this one. That changeup to end the inning with the runner on 3rd was just flat out nasty.

Looks like we're content with the loss in this one. Bard, Snow, Cora and Mohr all in the lineup.
