Throw not in timne, but Youk is the man. I can truthfully say that I was very excited that he would be getting in the lineup everyday once we lost Mueller and Millar.

The sad thing is, I see our relievers letting up more runs than DiNardo today.

Francona needs to just let DiNardo take a beating in this game. They really can't afford to have him done after the first couple innings.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

At least we all came into this game with low expectations. Normally I'd feel slightly confident with our offense, but considering Hallady is pitching and this is a weak lineup today.....meh.

Re: Boston Red Sox - 2006

Wow, a lineup consisting of 4 replacement level player (of which 3 are hitting below .200) and a replacement level pitcher on the mound to oppose a Cy-Young winner. Yeah, should we even watch this game?! The sad thing is, Halladay doesn't look very good today, but with only 5 dangerous bats in the lineup the likelihood of the Red Sox getting even three off of him today seems slim. DiNardo just throws junk, I wonder how long they let him take the ball every fifth day?

Nixon doubles in a run, so at least the Sox won't be shut out.
