Geez, I turned the game off up 5-2 in the 7th figuring we could hold on to win. I forgot how bad we suck though.

WTF? We lost? Last score I saw was 5-2 in the 7th inning I think. Guess I took this win for granted.

Lol, as I typed this the highlights came on ESPNNews. Can it get any worse?

The left-handed Remlinger came in face lefty hitter Jeremy Hermida, who bunted to the left side. Remlinger fielded the ball quickly and tried to get pinch-runner Reggie Abercrombie at third base, but the throw sailed past Chipper Jones and Abercrombie easily scored the winning run.

Remlinger obviously felt that Jones might have been able to get a glove on the ball. "Ask Chipper if it was catchable," the veteran reliever snapped in disgust. "I don't know. I just threw it."

Wow, this is getting bad. We've never had a problem with players airing their problems through the media, it has always been behind closed doors stuff. This is not good.

Remlinger ripping Chipper.

OK, but seriously I didn't want to actually hear that things had already gotten worse. Our best player for the past decade gets blasted in the media by a journeyman reliever. This definitely isn't the time that something like this needed to happen.

On second thought, maybe it'll spark something in this team. I mean, it can't get any worse than it is right now.

****Waits for Spike****

Atlanta (AP) -- Searching for an answer to their bullpen woes, the Atlanta Braves acquired a familiar face Thursday.

The Milwaukee Brewers sent righthander Dan Kolb back to the Braves, in exchange for outfielder Jeff Francoeur, catcher Brian McCann, second baseman Marcus Giles, minor league catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia, a player to be named later (believed to be pitcher Kyle Davies) and cash.

"We believe we have improved our team greatly," Braves GM John Schuerholz said. "Rarely does an opportunity come along to acquire a player of his caliber.
"

Okay, I may have made that up. And yes, I was bored.
