I picked him up a few weeks ago, hoping he'd figure something out. He's been on the bench pretty much the whole time, though.

Lead off walk. I think I've seen this before.

Finally!

Crazy, crazy game... I'm just glad we won it.

So what are we now, 5.5 back in the WC?

We win. I don't know how, but we win.

Back.

I was watching the game on TiVo and then pressed the channel up, dammit!

Oh well, good to see we ended up winning. Can someone designate Sosa for assignment already?

You know what's funny from the game, Sosa leaves it with a better record than when he entered. None of his other stats are better, however.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Yep...5.5 back.

Philly plays SF, Milwaukee plays Arizona, and Houston plays Florida this weekend...so that covers the closest two teams in front of us, and closest two behind us (well, Philly is tied with us).

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

It really is amazing that we're only 5.5 games back. But I can only think of where we would be without all of the blown saves. In other words, with Reitsma and Sosa.
