Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Well, we're off to a swell start tonight...

EDIT: Coming into tonight, David Wright is 7 for his last 7 with 4 homeruns against Ramirez.

Now he doubles, so 8 for his last 8...

2-0 Mets. Gonna be a long night...

EDIT #2: How 'bout that? Braves come right back and tie it in the bottom half. Still nobody out.

Dang, Mac killed that ball. Sac-fly, 3-2 Braves.

Frenchy double, 4-2 Braves!

Umm, Pedro just ripped a double... that's a shame.

Who scores behind the pitcher as Beltran strokes it up the middle...

2 on, nobody out in the 3rd for the Mets...

Horacio's got nothin' tonight.

EDIT: 5-4 Mets.

EDIT #2: Braves get a leadoff double in the 3rd, he's stranded there.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Braves may need another starter. Thomson was pulled from his rehab start tonight, apparently due to the shoulder again.

I know Davies will be back hopefully next month, but how much can we really expect out of him this year? Huddy and Horacio are way too inconsistent... Chuckie James has been getting hit lately.

Back to the game, Pedro seems to have settled down now. Still not throwing very hard, but he's locating better...

EDIT: Looks like Chipper re-aggravated that injury.

Yup, he comes out. Betemit in.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

The Braves have not been working the count well at all since the first... lot of quick outs.

EDIT: Good grief, David Wright kills us.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

C'mon guys, let's make some magic in the 9th!

I was at work throughout the game and finally got home (was tracking the game on the Gamecast, with my boss, who's a Met fan).

We need this!
