I'm surprised Sosa was allowed to stay in to face Feliz, he's all over the place.

Crap, bases clearing double. 6-2 SF.

So long, Sosa... Cormier coming in. At least one batter too late, though.

The pitching staff has been putrid this year. Makes me wonder how much affect the loss of Mazzone is really having. He was always a very calming influence (and very no nonsense).

I don't think they are that bad. We have a good pitching staff, imo. I'll wait a couple weeks when they have some more games under them and see how they do. Atleast our offense is hitting and scoring when needed.

6-3 after a Chipper hit off the glove of the Giants 2nd basemen. Andruw up. HR here and we back within 1. Far from over. Let's go 'Druw.

EDIT: So much for that. Stil 6-3 going to the bottom of the 6th.

Ken Ray K's Bonds... welcome back to the big leagues, dude.

2 perfect innings... hmm, maybe we've got something here.

Homerun Brian Jordan, still down 6-4 with 2 down in the 9th... but McCann grounds out to end the game.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

The starting pitching better come around soon, or its gonna be a looooong year. Pretty easy to say that though.

I'm a little worried about Francoeur, he didn't look good to end last season and hasn't been any better to start this one.

He's a streaky hitter. He is like Andruw in his younger days. Very streaky. Actually Andruw is still a streaky hitter, hopefully that changes this year.
