Braves win!

Smoltz pitched great, hope he's all right, though. He kept stretching his arm throughout the game, like maybe there was something up with the shoulder...

The last thing we can afford is an injury to Smoltz, our only consistent pitcher.

This win is nice, though. Got out of some trouble in the 9th. As crazy as it sounds, I felt pretty confident when I saw it was 4-1 going into the bottom of the 9th. Crazy, huh?

Wickman is no Reitsma.

Baez set it up nicely, too. Suddenly, the back-end of our bullpen doesn't look that bad. Wonder what our record would be if we had these guys from the start...

EDIT: Reds lost, 5.5 games back now.
