This is disgusting...DISGUSTING!

I was looking at the game on Gamecast, and havent been as frustrated from a regular season loss in a while. Bases loaded, no out....and you're telling me we can't get one freakin' run to tie the game up? Unacceptable.

Apparently, there were some horrible calls, and Scott Thorman didnt tag up on the out by Diaz (or was it Francoeur?) which would have put him @ third to score on the LaRoche groundout.

Still, this is despicable. You HAVE to convert these wins, man.

He's got a rehab start tomorrow, then 2 or 3 more after that. So barring any setbacks, we're probably looking at late August...

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe there was a reason Shiell was pitching in an independent league earlier this year?

Little piece of trivia, Jason Shiell was the minor leaguer the Braves traded to San Diego, along with Klesko and Boone for Sanders/Veras/Joyner in Dec. '99...

I think we can kiss the playoffs goodbye. I just don't think we can play well enough for that long of a time period. Hope I'm wrong.
