I hated to lose Betemit because he was such a good player but we had to make the trade to have any shot ths year.

I would've been allright with the deal if Baez wasn't a FA at the end of the year. If we can re-sign him, I'll feel better about it...

EDIT: Man, Phillips is awesome defensively. Might've been a bad call, but still...

Aside from Betemit's two homers, Aybar has a better average and OBP. Combined with Baez, those two have meant a lot more to us than Betemit has to LA.
