Very true. I remember a couple years back I thought he coudl be something some day, yet he continued to do terrible. Hopefully he finally figured it out because he can rake. He started off so bad this year and now his average is up to about .292, that is something. He has been on a tear for probably 2 months now. He is great to have in the bottom of the order, although if moved up could have more chances to drive in more runs.

EDIT: Yeah Rice and the O-line are doing a great job.Hopefulyl they can put 'em away and not have a repeat of last years opener vs Illinois.

It would be huge to win tonight also. If all goes our way, we could only be 3 out by the end of games played tonight. That is crazy.

BTW Davies is back and starting tonight. We need him terribly. If he can hold down the 4th spot and then we can have Oscar i nthe 5th spot, we shoudl be alright. BTW is Thomson supposed to comeback this season or what?
