Just got home. What happened to Chipper? Ray is looking great. One bright spot for our pitchers so far.

Trying to make a play, sort of rolled his ankle and slid (quite a distance, actually), then caught his spike in the turf. Looked nasty.

In the groundscrew defense it has been raining buckets here, it has finally just clear up. So the field is going to have its problems! Still sucks for Chip, hope he is OK!

Yeah, can't really help that, but I don't think I have ever seen that field in good condition.

Clubhouse report: Chipper injury is his ankle, not knee. Sprained right ankle.
