EDIT: Great inning we had there. Going to the bottomg of the 7th still 3-1.

Ugh. Solo shot Green in the bottom of the 8th. Now the lead is 3. Damn those late inning runs to extend leads. We aren't winning this one. Smoltz didn't show up and the offense couldn't get anything going off of Dave freaking Williams. Terrible.

Season over. IMO we needed this game, I dont care how close we get from here on out we aren't winning the WC. How can we give away a game where Smoltz is going up against Dave Williams, and Beltran isn't playing due to inj? Ofcourse the offense is to blame, they got some lead off hits but double plays killed us. Still the overall team effort was garbage in this game.

Taped the first game, doubt I'll bother watchin' that...

Not that we had much of a chance anyway, but getting swept in this DH would pretty much be the death blow.

EDIT: Think some of the frustration is coming out here... looked like the correct call.
