Ward will probably be back and we have Thorman, and Bobby would continue his rotation at 1st for the what 10th year in a row?

I don't know about Ward... talk was he was set to re-sign, but it's been a while. Makes you wonder what's goin' on. Heard the Cubs might be interested in him...

I'd expect the Braves would probably bring in a veteran right-handed 1st baseman as part of a platoon if LaRoche is traded.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

I just think there's a lot of interest in LaRoche after his breakthrough season, and they're trying to take advantage of that. Maybe a case of selling high...

Only way LaRoche goes to the Angels IMO is if one of or both of Shields and Santana are involved somehow...if we make any other deal with them that doesn't involve those two, it's stupid.

Also, wonder what's going on with Hudson...I wonder if he's still be shopped around since Glavine isn't coming back.

bravefan or whoever else visits scout: Did MrWho passing away kinda throw the rest of your day off? Just reading some of his recent posts and everything, it was actually sad knowing he will no longer be making posts. Just wondering if I was the only one.

You're not the only one, I was pretty bummed out when I saw that. I wasn't aware that he was as sick as he obviously was...

I was always impressed by his apparent humility, he seemed like a genuinely good person.

Braves trade Horacio Ramirez for Mariners Rafael Soriano.

By the way, I know I'm late to the party on this one.
