Yeah....for years we've been hearing about Wilson Betemit, and for years there hasnt been anything but a bench player behind him. He's fine off the bench, but not as a starter. He keeps busting my balls on MVP Baseball for playinig time, too. Who does he think he is?

It's on FSN South...

2-out double by Lieberthal, 2-0 Philly.

Now Sosa walks the pitcher... infield hit Rollins, bases loaded.

Ball eats up Renteria, 2 runs score. 4-0 Philly.

Walk to Abreu, 3rd walk of the inning. Phillies have now batted around... Burrell pops out to finally retire the side.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Andruw leads off the bottom of the 2nd with a double... LaRoche grounder gets him to 3rd.

Frenchy can get him in with an out... and pulls another grounder to 3rd. Runner can't advance...

Are those boo's I hear for Frenchy?

McCann bloops a single to left, 4-1 now.

Betemit doubles to left-center, McCann gunned down trying to score.

No. Let him get out of the funk. Sending him down to Richmond will further derail his confidence, which is probably at an all-time low.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Bobby kept K.J. in the 3-hole last year when he started out 1-30... they might move Jeff down a couple spots in the order, but I doubt they'll send him down. Not anytime soon anyway.

His play has been rather concerning, though... lowest AVG, OBP, and SLG of all major league regulars. John Thomson got more hits the other night than Jeff has all year (early as it is)...

Langer Banger K's with runners on the corners. Up to Andruw to get a run in... swung out of his shoes at that one, but popped it up. Still 4-1.
