The offense is putting up the runs but the pitching is letting us down. If we get the pitching straight we'll be fine.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Yeah, it'd be nice not to spot a team an early lead every effing game.

Some positives, though. Even after the early deficit, we had a shot to win it at the end... Frenchy appears to have busted out of his funk... and Ken Ray kept up his good work out of the pen.

Blaine Boyer, who was just sent down recently, needs shoulder surgery and could miss the rest of the season...

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Just 1 run allowed in the 1st tonight.

Renteria ties it with a homer... he's hit in all 11 games so far.

Edgar is absolutely on fire.

By the way, we've let up a run in the first inning in six of the eleven games so far this season, and excluding tonight, have a 2-3 record in those games.

Furc-who?

Another hit and run scored for Edgar, extending his NL lead in hits and moving him into second in runs.

Langer Banger.

3-1 Braves.

EDIT: That didn't last long. 4-3 SD.
