Looks like the Mets finally played a half Decent Team and Looks like they Fell back to the old ways..I mean No Chipper, No Edgar and We still pull 2 out of 3..Cant wait till later on when we play and both teams are at Full Strength
To be fair they didn't have Beltran or Floyd, also Giles didnt play today as he is injured also.

Can we agree that our starters are good. Only horrible pitcher is Sosa. Thomson is decent and Davies is getting better.

Tough loss for Glavine though, 4 hits, 1 ER. That should win you most games. Glad it didn't this time though

Yet last night on Baseball Tonight Harold Reynolds, or someone, talked about how starting pitching would be the reason we do not win the division. They have not even realized that we have turned it around pretty well.

You have to understand, it's like this everyear. We are notorious for starting a season slow the last couple of years. The so called "analysts" write us off, then when he do get on a roll they say, "I knew they could do it all along". I don't pay attention to what they say, I just watch for comedy. It is hilarious how they were on the Mets jock and it's April.

Maybe we won't hear about how big a loss Mazzone was for a little while now... at least until Sosa's next start, anyway.
