Yet he still remains better than Ernie Johnson was in his last few years of announcing. I swear, he saw fit to explain every single rule of the game at every opportunity.

Ole' Ernie Johnson. Man I loved that guy. Anyone here besides me watch the "1991 Miracle Season", "1992 Lightning Strikes Twice", and "1995 Braves Win It All" videos?

I have the '92 and '95 tapes... I like at the end of the '92 one when Ernie says something like "This team should continue to win for many years to come". Ernie sure called that one.

There was an excerpt from I think the AJC in my local paper (Charlotte Observer) on Sunday about how with the Braves being bought out, and Turner South goin with them to Fox, everythings switching over, so all 60 +Turner South games are now covered by Bob Rathbun and Jeff Torborg, my vote for one of the worst announcing duos in baseball.

That guy was cracking me up while I was watching. It was great.
