Being at the game on Thursday night was fantastic. The second time in a row I've went to a game where they walked off against the Rockies. Nice birthday present for my mom, too.

First 2014 post. Phil's take 3 of 4 on the road in dodger town. Big road series win and Carlos Ruiz is playing great ball right now.

Well, I finally see hope with some younger players. Mainly Nick Williams and Rhys Hoskins. And more on the way.

What are the thoughts on Mickey Moniak's development so far? I have followed his stats and he has underwhelmed, IMO, for a #1 overall pick. What's the general consensus in Philly?

Honestly, I'm not hearing really anything on him. Most of the news I hear from the farm system is about guys your seeing now. And that are in Triple A. If anything, it was JP Crawford is the talk about being underwhelming. Supposedly he's really turning it around lately.
