Re: 2006 Philadelphia Phillies Thread

3 hits and 3 runs scored from Utley tonight. I'd love to see him stay there for a while and try to galvanize the offense. God forbid we move King Abreu out of his precious #3 spot, but tonight's lineup looked a lot better than the one we've been watching. Rowand also offers Howard some good protection so he'll see some more fastballs, too.

Don't get your hopes up. 3 wins in a row, over the Pirates and Marlins, is nothing to get excited about.

Flash is filthy! 9th save of the year, and Wagner just blew another save for the Mets.

4 in a row for the Phils.

For the record, I still want Manuel fired.

Re: 2006 Philadelphia Phillies Thread

This team looks a little different lately.

My hopes are low, but maybe this team actually turned a corner during the Marlins game when Manuel exploded in the dugout and the team came back against Dontrelle.

Re: 2006 Philadelphia Phillies Thread

Myers has been solid his last 4 starts. He's asserting himself as our ace.

5 in a row!
Lidle was solid after a rocky first. Bullpen got the job done, giving Flash a night off in the process.

Back to .500.

The Phils should trade Lieber, Bell, and/or Lieberthal. Ideally for some more youth.
