Re: 2006 Detroit Tigers

man, it's great to have a decent baseball team in Detroit...probably since late 80's/early 90's when I was 8-12

I find myself tuning in every night when I can, just because these Tigers are so compelling. I've always been a fan, but the Motor City Kitties have me hooked this season.

Wow, Robertson dug deep and got 3 straight out after his throwing error that let the guy go to 3rd. It's that type of stuff that the Tigers wouldn't do in the past. Nate has me wanting Big League Chew now lol

Imagine how I feel, this is the first time in my LIFE the Tigers have been good!

Now if only the Lions showed some hope.....

Would you SOBs lose every once in a while. Dayum. Funny how there is'nt much noise in this thread. I guess some of yall are waiting to see if this is a fluke or not. This team seems like a real threat.

Funny, Tiger fans are thinking the same about the White Sox.

As for not much noise in here...I think most of the fans are still crossing our fingers!

Re: 2006 Detroit Tigers

If the Astros are ever gonna get shutout, today was a good day, since I had Verlander pitching in fantasy baseball. The Tigers rotation has been sick. Who'd have thought we'd be saying that this season?

Re: 2006 Detroit Tigers

Thank you Pirates for breaking your 13 game losing streak...extends the lead on the Sox to 2.5 games. Hopefully, the Tigers can improve on their league leading 28-11 record on the road this weekend in Pittsburgh, and start another losing streak for the Pirates.
