Mac back in the lineup tonight. 2-run double in the first, Braves up 2-0.

The Dodgers may have the worst hitting with RISP in the league.

BTW, you guys can have Betemit back. He's terrible.

That trade's been pretty lousy for both sides, I'd say, what with Aybar going AWOL due to substance problems... at least the Braves got those two draft picks for Baez, though.

Wilson Betemit today: 0-3, 3 K's.

Coming into today, he was 7-53, .132 BA, 15 K's. I rest my case.

At least Aybar has a solid batting average and can reach base. Betemit has no shrewd of awareness at the plate and can't hit.

Braves win 4-0... radar gun must've been a little fast there in the 9th or something. Soriano was getting clocked consistently in the high 90's, hit triple-digits at least once. I know he throws hard, but I've never seen him throw that hard.

We don't know that. He hasn't played this year unless you count half of spring training. As far as Betemit is concerned atleast he is playing. Aybar most likely won't even play this season.

Ya I noticed Soriano getting up there last night. He hasnt thrown that hard since he came up as a young starter throwing 97-98, porbably why his shoulder has been so messed up. Anyways, good game last night for the Braves, glad to see smoltz not lose it in the 6th and 7th innings like previous starts.
