Everyone is Cormier's Daddy. He's the first "group attempt child" in the history of the world.

EDIT: Un-****ing-believable.

Wow, What does this say about sending Carlyle down and going with Cormier as the #5 starter?

On a positive note Cormier's performance tonight further enhances our need for a starting pitcher or two. LOL

Amazing that some were looking to Lance Cormier to stabilize the rotaion.

That's a pretty sad statement about our rotation.

Yeah! Cormier certainly isn't looking good. I honestly thought that possibly he could make that 5th spot. I was worried about his injury problems & maybe(just maybe) that's a factor. He pitched well in spring training & in his rehab starts in the minors. The minors is a totally different story than the bigs though. I honestly don't know where we're gonna go for that 5th spot right now.

I still say bring up Trey Hodges & give him a chance. He's doing good at Richmond & has been up with the Braves before. Carlyle would appear to be a better fit than Cormier so let's get him back too. He has looked better than Cormier by far.

We need to get things going again. We are struggling really bad right now. We can't get the big hits or make the right pitches. Escobar is doing a really nice job in place of Chipper but we need Chipper back in the worse way. He brings confidence & also has the clutch ability that most others don't have right now. He also has the HR ability that Escobar can't provide. Escobar is gonna give us the occasional HR but not with any consistency.

Andruw has come out of his slump a little but still not hitting enough. He is hitting some HR's(including that nice one to right) but he needs to get more hits. We are lucky that the Mets have been losing lately too because we would be back 7 or 8 games right now if they'd been winning. I don't have much confidence in our Braves right now but hopefully we can get things turned around. Thanks guys!

Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Cormier to the DL with a "tired arm". Carlyle back up, he'll start in the ESPN Sunday night game. Smoltz was originally slated to pitch that game, but he'll be pushed all the way back to Friday.

And as if the rotation didn't have enough problems already, Huddy left tonight's game after taking a comebacker off his leg...

Though the Braves are leading the Cubs now 8-5 after 4.
