So do you guys reckon we'll be buyers/sellers/neither at the trade deadline? I don't think we'll make a ton of moves (maybe bring in a veteran bat) this year, because I don't think anyone expected them to be good this year (I think next year was the year that the organization thought they'd be good or decent) so I don't think we'll make any major moves until next season

I think it comes down to September. No team in this division seems like it can win a playoff series.

With the Ubaldo trade in the books (plus Orlando Cabrera for Thomas Neal) the one thing he HAVE to do now is get a bat. I'll be interested to see if we get Ludwick or someone else (Michael Bourn?).

This Indians fan is pretty excited for Jimenez to be coming to Cleveland. Sucks that Pomeranz and White were traded, but I'm quite happy that the Indians are finally making deadline deals to make a push for a playoff spot this year and not for years down the line.

I agree also that Cleveland needs to acquire another bat, specifically a right handed outfielder. Ludwick comes to mind, and there are rumors that a deal could be done to acquire him by tomorrow morning. If not Ludwick, B.J. Upton from Tampa Bay is a player I'd also like to see the Indians make a strong run for.

Could someone please tell me when Ubaldo will be making his first start. I see the indians are in Arlington starting this friday. I want to see his first game with the tribe in person.

Will Sizemore lead off or be lower in the lineup?
