Not sure that Smoltz is a first ballot guy anyway. He'll get in, but not on the first try

I think he will…Eckersley made it on his first ballot and Smoltz was a better starter and just as dominant closer. I think Smoltz is the only player with 200+ wins and 150+ saves.

I think Smoltz gets in on the first ballot, though I'm not sure with these writers being morons.

Anyone looked into what it takes for a trip to Cooperstown? It's probably all booked by now, I'd presume.
