Money is on Sanchez. StroShow's mechanics are flawless, make me tear up just a little, and give me the warm and fuzzies, and Norris is protected by his Jesus-mojo / beard. Also, Sanchez's short-*** stride and vomit-inducing arm action are basically begging for TJS, which is funny cause it's not like he's even cheating his mechanics to get better results.
Yeah, every time I watch Sanchez deliver a pitch I wince a little inside. That kid puts so much stress on that arm it's crazy. That's why i'm a little worried if he ends up as a starter this season. I really think with that violent delivery and only having 2 pitches to rely on he'd be the best fit as the closer.

Re: 2015 Blue Jays Banter

Put him at closer, market him as the next Craig Kimbrel, and trade him for as much as you can possibly get, while appointing Brett Cecil, on a new, cost-controlled contract, the closer.

Beard is gone! I'd post a pic of his clean shaven mug but my internet is terrible today and I'm pretty sure you'll find it.

What is the over under on the amount of times we hear about him living in his van during the season? 1,000? 10,000? It's a great story but I'm already tired of it.

They'll park it outside the RC and set up a channel on Rogers dedicated to monitoring it.

If we had hipper announcers i'd expect a "I live in a van down by the river" reference when speaking about Norris

And because of the additional channel Rogers has to add, they will increase peoples cable bills because of it.

Re: 2015 Blue Jays Banter

And now begins my daily check of this forum.

My hope for the Jays this year is that they win the World Series...

In my OOTP sim. Realistically we need 40/120 from Joey Bats to make noise. Pitching would be nice too.

Re: 2015 Blue Jays Banter

Meh, realistically we just need health. Pitching injuries probably won't kill us considering the likelihood (or lack thereof) of MB/Dickey/Stro getting injured. Even if Hutch is a candidate, we've got lots of depth. We have no infield depth though, like none at all.
