Tanaka is going to miss a month. However, Whitley didn't pitch bad at all last night.

Impressive start considering what was expected of this team. Bad luck for the Yankees with Tanaka. Looks like they might get 1/2 year of production for his first three years on the roster.

part of me wishes they would just do the TJ surgery and get it over with and lose him for a year, and the other part knows that its way too hit or miss with how he will recover and be the pitcher that he is up to this point. Its just frustrating that this guy is so young and talented and they must treat him now like a crystal ball and not break him. Atleast the team as a whole is playing good so far.

Yea Miller and Betances, and this bullpen in general have been lights out, and making life easy for the starters. I generally really like this team, still maybe overachieving, but time will tell. I'm getting excited about Chris Young, he might be duping me, but what if he is coming into his own, he used to be a pretty highly touted prospect, maybe we just got a steal with him.

Carlos Beltran needs to start hitting soon or get traded. So bad. What a horrible contract.
