Season Roster Linuep issue?

Anyone else having this problem? When I go to start a season, I load my saved rosters. However when I go to the lineups area my lineups are out of wack and not like I have them on my roster file....for ex. I moved A-rod to cleanup on my file yet for some reason he is still in the 3 hole. It seems like all the roster adjustments I made on my roster file are not translating to my season. Even when I go within the season to edit the lineups they still are messed up when I go to the pregame lineup screen...WTF!!!!!

The roster in my season reflects edits, walkup music, etc but the damn lineups are messed up..HELP

Same thing here. The Rockies had Todd Helton batting leadoff.

I was pissed bc i edited just about all the teams lineups and noticed that basically none of them transferred over.

Did you have roster control on or off?? If you had it off you can use a second controller to adjust the lineups before a game.

yes i did so thats an option but the point is i should have to do that in the first place...this wasnt a problem in '08

I looked at the Cubs lineup and laughed my *** off when I saw Soriano in the cleanup spot

I went through all the rosters and made the lineups correct and none of them worked in season mode can anyone at SCEA confirm a fix in the future or workaround??

Wow, it's screwed up. I play with Roster Control ON so that I can make sure lineups are set. So I started a franchise with AZ because they play COL in their first game. There's Helton leading off. So I go to CPU Roster Control, put Helton lower in the order, save the game and sim to their second game. Helton is back at lead off.

This is MLB 2K type shyt there. Thats one reason I went to the Show over 2K. They need to do something about this.

I just lowered Heltons plate discipline. Put him in the third slot, didn't even save this time, went to play the game and he was moved to 6th in the order. Ugh.

You know I'm going to take the time now to revisit the AUTO FIX (regarding the lineups) as it worked great up at SCEA. I'm hoping that for some reason this too is out of whack.

What happened from the build we played to this version?

Last year in season mode, this would always happen anytime I would make any kind of promotions or demotions/trades for teams. For instance, after making the Manny to LA trade, all of Boston's lineups were changed to crazy things like Youk leading off, Pedroia batting 3rd, etc. I would always have to re-set the lineups for teams after making any moves, and it would stay until another was made.

Crap!

I took the Dodgers, sent Kemp down (let's say he stinks), brought up Delwyn Young to take his place. It rosters were messed up, so I did AUTO FIX. It put Kemp back on the ML Roster batting third, ugh.

Looks like CPU ROSTER CONTROL is going to be an absolute pain in the butt because you are going to have to go throuh all levels to make sure there are 25 men on each and make sure there are 40 men on the 40 man roster. Oh, brother.....

Well, it would do that if you didn't use the workaround I came up with last year. Use the workaround and you wouldn't have the problem. However, on the surface, and I have to do some more testing, it looks like the CPU has a mind of it's own when you send somebody down. If that person is better than what you have up it's gonna correct it.

I'm going to do an Albert Pujols experiment I did up at SCEA and it handled it well. Give me a few.

This is one of the gripes I have had for this game. The other gripe is also for the rosters.

When you want to take a Free Agent to your team, you need to find a scrub (AA) to switch with the FA. I hate that. I'd like it if I could only take the FA and not have to worry about switching. They need to fix this big-time.
