    Knights End of Season Set

    Guys...

I'm working right now on a set that will be the final set for 2009....an End of Season roster.

    It will have...

    1. All transactions, both MLB and MiLB.
    2. Well over 300 prospects.
    3. At least the top 40 2009 Draft Picks.
    4. The Full Minors(of course)
    4. Some players you might want to see.

This thread is for you to ask for some specific players in the set.
So please post the request here and I'll keep you guys up to date on the status.
It's going quickly as it is based off the September 7th update, so nearly all the 40 mans are done.

I will be doing the faces of all the SCEA created players added(of course not the originals as they are uneditable)....as well as changing some prospects added by SCEA from "B" to "A" prospects as necessary.....and re-rating as needed also.

    M.K.

    Hey Knight,

Can you add Steve Susforf, of the Phillies? I believe he replaced Jeremy Slayden in Reading after Slayden retired. Here is a link to Susdorf's profile:

Also, could you add Sebastian Valle, Trevor May, or Brody Colvin (09 draft pick) of the Phillies, as well? I saw that Baseball America had them on the Phillies new top 10 prospects list.

Oh, and Jeff Malm of the Rays and Robert Stock of the Cardinals. Both 09 draft picks.

Sorry for all of the requests.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

            Knight,

You are the best! Thank you so much for doing this update!

Oh, anyway to get Blake Tekotte of the Padres, Matt Cusick of the Yanks, or Mark Sobolewski of the Blue Jays in the update, as well? haha

            Thanks again,
            Patrick

Awesome, as usual Knight. The only request I have is that you add both OF Jared Mitchell and C Josh Phegley (both 1st round picks) from this year's draft for the Sox.

Yes.....maybe a couple of players here and there slightly altered(I'm re-doing a few who need prospect "upgrades" and such)

                patty...two of those are in

                franch1se.....yes...I will get them in

CWP....you had me going nuts for a second...I kept searching BOSTON for those players and I'm not even looking at the draft list or even EASIER...your avatar or your screen name
Yes...they will be in. I may have to make them "B"s...as I'm nearly out of A's already...

Knight, how about Rudy Owens 6'3 lhp starter on Pittsburghs A ball team. tearing it up 10-1 1.70 ERA (i know A ball but Pirates fans need something lol).
Right know he is their third best pitching prospect behind Alderson and Lincoln

Owens doesn't come up on my pitching prospect site when I search.
                    Got any pitches for him?
I'll get him in the set though.

                      Knight,

2Quick questionS............will this end of season set only be available via sportsconnect or will you "sendspace " it here for those who don't have ps3 internet access?

Also, will these only be available for those who have "downloaded" the patch?

                      Thanks

                        Go Knight Go!

I wasn't going to restart my play every game franchise (all teams all games!), but now I must!

Let us know if you post one with all of the updates minus all the prospects, just MLBers and all the call-ups would be perfect!!

.....will these have the stamina edits at all?

                          Okay...
I feel a little bad about this...I was working off the default rosters with the game originally...just to get the non-patched guys a set...but after seeing SCEA's latest update.....it was just too good to pass up....so you will need the patch.
I will put it both in the Vault and link it here though.

Ruffy...I will most likely post one with prospects only(including the new drafts)....
I've already got the first 30 prospects done(the A's)...faces-ratings-equip and stances(for the ones I could find)
I'm about to move on to the new drafts...then the second tier prospects(the B's)

Just curious Knight if you remember off the top of your head, which category did you put Padres 2nd rounder Everett Williams into? I read a lot of things saying he was a first round talent and should have been there.

Knight here is what i have on Rudy Owens
From what information I have been able to find is that he has a fastball that consistently sits between 88 and 90 MPH and touches 93 MPH on occasions while also throws a knuckle curve ball. Standing at 6’3 and 215 pounds Owens has a good size,
                              also this note

Pitcher of the Year: Rudy Owens. The only guy close was Brad Lincoln. Owens put up Playstation numbers that seemed to come out of no where, though last year we pegged him as a guy to watch.
