How to use Knights end of season set...

I'm waiting on these to be ready to go buy a PS3, the Show and return to the Oriole Way.

But my question (this is from someone who has never even loaded the game)...how should one use these...

I'm assuming the sliders are based on this year's performance...but I also noticed that Darvish/Chapman, etc will be in them. What about pending FAs?

Will Holliday be a FA? Lackey?

Should I treat this like a re-do of the 09 season (with players like Chapman/Darvish being signed mid-season??)...or should I treat this as a fastforward to the 2010 season?

The upcoming free agents will still be on their respective teams. The rosters I assume will be how they are on the last day of the season.

        Knight-

Have you aged the players? Or are they the same age as they started 2009 season?

I think I'm going to do a short sim season...try to get all the playoff teams right...and then start as if I was in the off-season....

If their birthday was pre-October 15th.....I added a year. Habit(from doing historical rosters)....but I could see why you would want the age to be what it was start of season. That's an easy enough fix.

I asked this in the other forum...

How would you go about setting this up, I'd like to (w your rosters):

Sim 09, but control trades/signings (don't want Darvish/Chapman to be signed mid simulation)
Have teams finish in true to life draft order (as close as possible)
Start from 2010 FA, go thru offseason, then start 162 game season with one team and play from there....

Don't mind doing the legwork, I'm just a newb tho, so don't even know what my options are...
