New Classic Roster Uploaded

I've taken my first shot at a classic roster and uploaded it for everybody to enjoy. It's called "ALLTIME" my username is jbenchley

So far i've transfered all of the silver and golden era players to their original teams. I've now finished the Yankees, Tigers, Mets, and Redsox. Everything should be spot on statistically. I've done hours of research to make sure the batting stances/windups are correct as well as the pitch selection for each pitcher and speeds.

Hope some people enjoy it

04-19-10 i've now completed the Mets, RedSox, Tigers, and Yankees.

Here is the roster for download and i will try to update it from time to time

I tried to do this with 09 and I got about 3 teams done before I gave up. Good luck with this. I'd love to see this type of roster.

I work full time so it's hard to bang many out during the week but i'll spend some quality time improving it this weekend. I edited Babe Ruth so his power from both sides is 99. I dont think anybody should have a problem with that, it was actually more perplexing that he wasn't 99 to begin with. I created Joe Gordon SS for the Yankees and just got done with Dimaggio, and Mantle as well. My first run through i'm just working on trying to get the players created w the right height/weight etc at first. After i finish all the players then i'll go back and fine tune everything.

Why would you edit Ruth to have 99 power from both sides? He only hit lefty.

everybody is a critic of something. From all the information i have researched on Ruth, and trust me i've read from multiple sources, that his power is the standard that everybody else is compared to. In terms of power he hit from both sides, the same could be said for his contact as well. They didnt keep stats AVG vs RHP and AVG vs LHP back then but the guy hit baseballs farther than anybody in history, that has been proven multiple times through research. The reason i chose to max out his power from both sides is because even by doing that, he still will rarely hit 50-60 hr's in a simulated season. If i max out his power his stats are as close to his real life performance as it gets.

I have updated the roster a couple more times, and refined some of the stats and stances and such, the yankees are complete for now. They have Whitey Ford, Roger Maris, Lefty Gomez, Red Ruffing, Joe Dimmagio, Mickey Mantle, and others. I am working on the Red Sox now, i have Teddy Ballgame and Yaz, i added an updated Pedro Martinez, and Roger Clemens as well.
Look for another updae soon to be posted, again i will call it ALLTIME 1.0

You missed my point. Ruth only hit LEFTY. He was not a switch hitter. Why are you talking about how he may have hit as a right handed hitter????

I think we are both on different pages, There are 2 power ratings and contact ratings when you create a player:
Power vs LHP
Power vs RHP
Contact vs LHP
Contact vs RHP

I bumped Ruth up to a 99 rating on both the power ratings LHP and RHP. Those ratings do not refer to him hitting from the Right side. There are no settings such as you are reffering to. Even switch hitters have only the above ratings.
