Attribute Edit Thread

I haven't seen one of these this year. I'd like to see what some of you guys have done with SCEA ratings.

For edits in this thread, be realistic. Don't boost ratings becasue of one month or anything like that. I'm wanting things like Jim Thome(WAYY Overrated) etc.

If there isn't one already started, it sounds like a pretty cool idea to me.

I don't have the specific ratings edits handy, but here's a couple guys I thought needed ratings tweaks.

David Ortiz - lowered contact/power
Marcus Thames - lowered contact/power
Clay Buchholz - increased most pitching categories, especially his curve
Andrew McCutchen - increased speed (should be top 5 in MLB, probably), baserunning ability

i was just thinking about editing some attributes last night. there seems to be no player progression during the season so i was thinking that certain players on my team deserve a boost based on how they are playing. My Indians chise, i am 39-26.

really the only player i was thinking of giving a bump to was fausto carmona. i mean he is 11-1 with a 2.89 era for me. I think his K, BB and control ratings deserve a boost

question is, what amount of boost would be fair?
