Season Not Franchise Mode Using OSFM Roster Set

Hi Everyone - quick question for the experts out there.

Obviously in season mode you don't have access to AAA, AA and A players. You only have the 40-man roster to work with.

Since that leaves a ton of top prospects in the free agent pool has anyone seen during their season a team go out and pick these A Potential / non 40-man roster prospects up?

I.E. Lindor isn't on the 40-man roster so he is sitting in the FA pool, maybe Starlin Castro goes down with an injury. Would the Cubs try to make a trade for a SS on another teams 40-man roster or would they go to the FA pool and pick up the best FA available which in this case might be Lindor.

I can control my team with house rules and not do that, but can/would the computer controlled teams?

Thanks for the help - I'd hate to start a season and find out the computer is grabbing all the top prospects that OSFM created (who aren't on the 40-man roster) from the FA wire.
