DL limit?

I've run into a problem with my franchise. I follow all the transactions during the season and mirror them in my franchise. But it seems there is a limit on the amount of players on the DL. Some teams...the Dodgers come to mind, I can't put any more players on the DL.

Is there a limit in the game, or is it something else like not having enough players on the roster in the minors or what? First year I've ever run into this problem.......

Limit.
There always has been.
It might also be specific to positions(pitchers most likely) as having to have a certain amount healthy.

I ran into the same problem with the Dodgers, I ending up having to send Blake Hwksworth down and once he cleared waivers and in triple A. i was able to place him on the dl.
