Re: MLB 2012 - 1996 Classic Roster Project

As of now, I have Minnesota, Kansas City, and Cleveland finished. I have a strong start on Seattle and plan to finish them around tomorrow afternoon.

After I finish the Mariners, I will put up a small 4 team preview in the vault. It will have a decent variety with the low end Twins and Royals and the big hitting Indians and Mariners. A few other big names will also be scattered around their respective teams as well.

Until then, here's a few more pictures I've snapped from in game (sorry for quality - iPhone)

-------------------------------------------------------

Carlos Baerga playing D

Omar Vizquel in the field

Royals catcher Mike Macfarlane at bat

Jose Mesa in for the save

Mo Vaughn after a walk

Hey Baumy, just downloaded your Juan Gonzalez and its very good, are you doing this all yourself or do you have a team helping you. When this is released wouldn't mind trying the Indians out, b/c as a Tiger fan this was the start of some very painful years.

Thanks man.

I'm going at this project solo, but I'll let everyone know if that would change.

As far as Cleveland goes, you are in luck.

I will start again sometime tomorrow, but as of now Minnesota, Kansas City, Seattle, and Cleveland are all complete. I was going to upload it, but Baltimore is so close to being done I just thought I would wait until tomorrow.

I'll post here when it's up.

Re: MLB 2012 - 1996 Classic Roster Project

I just uploaded what I have done under "1996 Season Preview."

Minnesota, Kansas City, Cleveland, Seattle and Baltimore are completed.

I can't seem to get the lineups to stay, so you may have to re-adjust them to your liking.

And before you go off on how much I suck, remember that players who batted .230 lifetime with a season career high of .240 wont have contacts over 45-50. Same with non-sluggers and power ratings.

Other than that, enjoy boys

Unfortunately, I could not find a truly fitting mullet for Johnson. Sad, I know.

I appreciate that man. That's pretty awesome. Hope you like it.

On a side note, I went back and increased the K rating substantially for Hershiser, Wells, Gooden, Appier, and a few other pitchers that I low-balled in that category. It is not in the update, but will be in the next one.

Spoiler
