'13 New York Mets player edits

The guys over in the OSFM Hybird thread have a equipment spreadsheet for the rerated rosters they are creating so I added all of the edits from page 1 to it.

Here are some Jon Niese attribute edits:

First off his batting stats are fine. No need to change anything there he's looking appropriate.

I believe SCEA uses 3 years of stats to rate players. This works pretty well for the most part. Niese really stepped up last year and looks to be stepping up more this year. I took a look at his stats on fangraphs and ingame and made some slighty adjustments.

I raised Pitching Clutch to 72, H/9 to 57. I lowered HR/9 to 60 and BB/9 to 74.

Looking at the PitchFX data and comparing his movement on his pitches from 2011 to 2012 I raised 4 Seam FB break to 59, Cutter break to 63, and 2 Seam FB break to 40. I lowered 12-6 Curve break just 2 points to 68.

All the adjustments are very small (5 points or less) but I feel it matches up better to his year 2012 rather than from 2010 to 2012. I love pitching with Niese.



Also I lowered Jamie Hoffman's speed to 59.


I think Cowgill could use a look over but not yet. If he continues to hit leadoff and produce i'll see how they rated him and adjust it a little.

TNK from the slider forum took the OSFM roster and made all of the 40 man rosters into 25 man rosters as well as set lineups, so that when you play franchise and end spring training the CPU doesn't jumble all of the players. You just have to add the correct 15 players to remake all of the teams 40 man rosters after that point. I updated it with the mets edits as well as my attribute edits and as best as I could estimate correct AAA/AA lineups and moved guys around to fill in for injuries. It is uploaded it to the vault:

Also Johan/Francisco/Byrdak/Marcum/Den Dekker are in single A you should manually injure them for the proper amount of time if you want to start the season off accurately

When someone comes out with a really good franchise save file with league wide manual injuries and correct rotations and 40 mans and equip edits i'll probably do the same thing

EDIT: The roster I upload with the 25 man lineups isn't good to use for franchise. Any player you remove from the 40 man also loses his contract the following season, but it is good for play now games
