I finished all up-to-date transactions yesterday. I still need to update MLB rosters. They are a mess! I also need to create a couple of players that are not in the roster set. One is Nick Masset(Braves) & the other is Buddy Carlyle(Mets).

I will look for players with matching service time if possible. I hope to have this ready in the next couple of days. I don't have the minors accurate either. I will leave the minors alone. I'll leave those up to you all to fix. I do want to get the MLB rosters accurate as possible though. Thanks!

Edit: I can't find any players matching service time for either of the 2 players mentioned from above. For the ones that are close in service time these are SCEA players & can't be edited into another player. Would you guys prefer me to just create them or what?

Masset has become pretty important for the Braves bullpen. Carlyle doesn't have great numbers but he's getting innings from the Mets bullpen too. Let me know guys what you would like for me to do about these couple of players.

Re: Updated Rosters for MLB 14?

I was able to find the missing players from an older roster file. I imported them into this roster set & will not have to create them now which is good news because I didn't really want to do that. I'm working on MLB rosters now. This will take a while because almost every single team in this roster set has messed up MLB rosters. I'll keep you guys updated.

I have no idea when there will be a release but hopefully not too long guys. Again, I want to emphasis that I haven't touched any ratings dating back to the Hybrid v2.1a roster set that was released back last year. I only added Tanner Murphy to the Braves roster.

Most every single team has the correct players all the way down to A ball but there are a few low level players on the wrong team. I had to do this because this was the only way to get transactions up-to-date. Getting rosters correct with the limitations outside of franchise mode is very difficult.

I wished that SCEA would have made things easier outside of franchise mode for roster transactions. Forcing one for one player swaps & not allowing players to be straight released has always bugged me about this game.

I know they have their reasons for doing this but it sure makes things hard on roster management. Oh well, I'll do the best I can do. I'll post back with an update soon guys! Thanks! BTW, I did forget to mention one other thing.

I did import several 2014 draft picks as well from another roster set. However, there are no 2015 draft picks. If you'll want some of those added to this roster set you'll need to get them from the vault.

It's based from the Hybrid v2a from last year. There are missing players from some MLB teams. I have found a couple from older rosters but some are SCEA created players so they can't be imported into this roster set. I'm through 6 MLB level teams thus far & there are 2 players as of right now that I can't add unless I actually create them or use another player to edit matching in service time.

I never have understood why SCEA won't let us import SCEA created players. I know it's about copyright stuff but it shouldn't be a big deal if you ask me. We are left to only import/export players that haven't made MLB teams before.

For some of the missing players I'll just use similar players matching in service time if possible. If I can't do that then I'll probably just create most of them. I'm also trying to get AAA level for teams close to accuruate as well. However, my main focus is on MLB level. I will also get as many other players on the correct teams(minor leagues) as possible. Thanks!

Re: Updated Rosters for MLB 14?

Tony there is a workaround for the service time. Create the player and put them in a franchise then sim up until the player has the right service time and then export them from the franchise. There is a more detailed way to do it in the roster section of the current gen section. I forget what thread though.

Thanks for that tip but if I have to go this route to match service time then I might just not add some of them that are missing. That's even more time consuming than what I've done & are doing right now. I've been working on this for days now & it takes a good while.

The transactions part is the most time consuming & difficult. I mean the limitations in roster management has caused me major headaches with this roster set.

The base from this roster(Hybrid, Williard & company) did have a few added generic players to use for roster management but nowhere near enough. It's almost impossible to get accurate rosters this way. If we had more freedom outside franchise mode this would make things a heck of a lot easier.

No need to cry wolf now though. I assume there will be no more The Show for PS3. I still haven't made the jump to PS4 yet & don't know when that will happen.

Even though this roster base was from Hybrid I have imported several 2014 draft picks. I think I will also add a select few 2015 draft picks as well. I've already added one 2015 pick in Austin Riley to my Braves roster. It's a very solid roster set in which I have added to the great base set from Williard & company. Thanks guys!

Could add Benintendi for the Sox as well? He was their first round pick and he was great at ARK.
