I just gave it a shot in an exhibition game. Wow... I dont think I'm good enough to play at HOF level yet. Pitch speed is a killer

No big deal man. If you want, try lower the difficulty of hitting to All-Star.

I'm excited to see what everyone thinks of these. I know that many will be scared away from the pitch speed, but it's not as bad as people think. I believe it made me a better hitter, because it makes you go with your instinct at the plate, rather than second-guessing yourself all the time.

I may post smaller boxscore updates (just the extras, not the every hitter crap), but I will be giving updates after every game/series. I will also have team updates after every so many games (for my buddy, HOV ) and always keeping you guys posted with any changes that may be needed.

Also, one more thing... this game is DAMN beautiful.

Agreed my man. Especially with the settings we have got. The true sim engine and real life cut scenes really come to life and show how realistic this game is. I'm so glad you got me to switch to classic pitching and your pitching sliders really work good. The man behind the pitching sliders is live, for sure.

I'll try these out at some point this week. Been trying to find a good set to start a franchise with but haven't quite found the right set yet. Pitch speed at 10 will be a huge jump over 3, which is what I usually play at but I'm definitely willing to give it a shot. And I'm a timing hitting guy and I usually pitch meter, but once again I'll give classic a shot as I have used it before and am comfortable with it. I'll update with box scores when I get to play a game with these. Thanks fellas.

I've searched for how to properly pitch with classic. Can someone explain or send me a link to how this works? Thanks

I will have to try these out. I have also been using Timing and just started Classic this year. I also prefer broadcast pitching view, not catcher. I primarily use All-star difficulty. How big of a jump is it from all-star to hof and pitch speed at 10?

Live can explain this the best. I'll leave this to him.
