I use pure analog for both batting and pitching. I feel like it gives me more control and then I can only blame myself if I make a mistake.

I tried to bat with zone, but it was just too much for my smallish brain to move the PCI while also taking my strike and timing/directing my swing.

By all means try it out….but I test these using Classic Pitching and Timed hitting.

Ok….I figured that when you said stride timing. I can't give advice on that interface as I don't play with it. But if the sliders are working well…..awesome and you can just tweak your batting sliders one click at a time to adjust for your timing this year.

Ok everyone I have updated page one!

We now have a working Quick Count All-Star set as well as Hybrid set. So far…I like what I have seen. Play lot's of games……lot's!! Get a big sample size and report back how things are going.

Remember everyone has varying degrees of skill, style and approach to this game. Not everyone plays it the same. Hopefully all of you can find a balance and I will do my best to answer questions and give tweak feedback for a while.

After all……we all want to play the game too right? LOL.

Also….please preface any questions with "QC Slider question" or "Sim Style" Slider question.

Then I will know what way your playing. Also…very important…..I am only testing with Classic/timed as the interface so questions regarding any other inter ace….I can't answer…I don't use them. Sorry in advance. But I am sure those who use different interfaces can figure out a click here or there…it's not too hard to balance this amazing game.

I plan on playing both ways. Quick counts will be mainly for my classic season replays…..and Sim Style (traditional) for my franchise.


Easiest thing to do….is save two slider sets and name one of them Sim Style and the other Quick Counts.

Then load in the one you intend on playing before your franchise game….because you can always load a slider set at any time in franchise/season mode.

Armor have u tried the dynamic difficulty yet.
It really is amazing. U have to get in about 10 games to let it figure ur skill level but once it does it gives u great results.
